Here’s a quick Easter Dollar Store craft! Front door wreaths can be expensive. You can find many items to make wreaths at your local Dollar Tree. It’s nice to be able to dress up your home for the holiday without killing your wallet.
I found the wreath form at Walmart for $3.49 and the wired mesh is from the Dollar Tree. It took 5 rolls of the mesh to make the wreath. I picked up two packs of egg picks at Hobby Lobby for %40 off. Grand total? I spent about $12 to make this Easter wreath. Score!
The colors of this wreath really pop on my turquoise front door! The wreath took me about 15 minutes to put together so this is not a time-consuming craft. The kids can help too!
There are several ways to make these wreaths. I’m a lazy wreath maker, so I simply took the mesh and pushed it up between the spaces in the metal form to create a fold, then pushed it up through the next space creating another fold. I pushed the mesh between the form to make it full and added more as I went. The egg picks have a long wire attached, so I simply put them where I wanted them and curled them around the frame. Easy-peasy!
Thanks for checking out this easy Dollar Store craft!
